Job Details
This music label/booking intern will assist CAbP Music in the promotion of a nationally touring band by helping research summer festivals, organize a national Street Team, announce the band's performances and recordings via social networks, and tap many undiscovered online channels to help spread the word about a new recording.
It will be an exciting internship as the band is about to release its fourth, much anticipated record and will be touring nationally in support of the record.
This internship will help someone interested in the music business learn about booking a national touring act.
There is some potential for the interns to travel with the band if they are interested in getting on the road
Requirements/Skills
- Very strong online research skills
- Basic familiarity with Microsoft Excel
- High energy and willing to work hard
- Strong familiarity (can we say obsession?) with results-based social network marketing
- Strong writing skills are required
- Design (photoshop/illustrator) would be a plus
- Basic HTML skills a plus
