Job Details
Seeking a MySQL DBA with the following suite of experiences and skills:
10 years very advanced MySQL.
Handling large databases, complex SQL.
Proprietary database synchronization tools.
Database Warehouse experience.
Data Mining and Data Extraction experience.
Advanced UNIX knowledge and experience with FreeBSD.
Ability to work independently.
Self Learning.
Advanced BASH Scripting experience a plus.
TCL or PERL or PHP a plus.
Strong knowledge of MySQL internals.
Requirements/Skills
The DBA needs to have the capability of performing database coding (application side) and optimization of the applications. Corporate hardware needs and setup and o/s needs for clustering are already covered. Needs extensive experience in DATA warehouse and high availability aggregated data mining engineering. Seeking someone with a strong development background, advanced UNIX and FreeBSD knowledge, and very strong MySQL skills preferably from an administration standpoint.
