List Your Job's Terms, Then Negotiate them Online

RapidStaff's new online Job Negotiator is a patent-pending module that can accompany your job posts. When candidates apply, reduce your hiring costs by conveniently negotiating each job term with the candidates online.

Register or Log In

Get started by registering as an employer on RapidStaff. Receive optional email or text alerts every time a candidate sends a job inquiry or negotiates a job. Accessing your employer dashboard gives you a window into all of your job posts and candidate searches.

Post a Job With Negotiable Terms

First enter the basic job information like the job description, requirements, location and summary. Next, you can list the terms you want to negotiate for the job. Examples include wages, salary, start date, bonus, expenses and many more. Or create your own. There is no limit on the number of custom terms you can create for each job. After you create your job post, it will be syndicated for free to more than 10,000 partner websites like CNNmoney, Business Week, Facebook and more through our partners Indeed and SimplyHired -- ensuring your job post gets the most exposure.

Use RapidStaff’s Job Negotiator to Agree or Counter-Offer

When candidates respond to your job post, they either accept or negotiate each of the terms you created. If they choose to negotiate a term, you use RapidStaff's Job Negotiator tool to counter-offer the specific term or accept the candidate’s new term by clicking "Accept." The Job Negotiator is a fast and easy-to-use tool that tracks each round of negotiations. And when dealing with multiple candidates, you can compare their profiles and use competition to negotiate a more advantageous outcome. You’ll be negotiating your way to find the best candidate at the right price in no time. And once you reach full agreement with a candidate, you've already ironed out the details -- so they can get right to work on Day 1.

Two Common Questions:
Are the negotiated terms legally binding once we reach full agreement?
The terms are not legally binding between employers and candidates. Employers can use the negotiated terms as a basis for drafting a letter of employment or an employment contract. This markedly reduces the possibility of a deal-breaking misunderstanding. It's also a great way to save valuable time and legal fees for all parties -- meaning you can earn more.
When do interviews occur in the negotiating process?
Employers can choose to interview candidates at any time in the process. They may want to negotiate before, during or after they've interviewed you. It’s all up to the employer, and every employer is different.
