David Cerino / General Manager, Microsoft Health Services Group

David is a respected professional with more than 20 years experience in software, travel and other industries specializing in the creation, development and execution of critical new business models.  Currently, David is at Microsoft Corporation working on large initiatives within the healthcare industry.  Before joining Microsoft, David was the driving force behind Orbitz’ highly successful “Orbitz for Business” unit. As vice president and general manager, he created, built and operated this unique corporate travel market entry.  His direct marketing efforts there brought more than 1,400 corporate clients to the portfolio within the first two years. Prior to his work at Orbitz, Cerino held the role of vice president of Internet marketing and customer experience for First USA Bank, as well as six years as senior director of marketing and product management for Amadeus Global Travel Distribution. Cerino has an MBA from Florida Atlantic University, and a BS in Mathematics and Computer Science from Wake Forest University in North Carolina.

David Makharadze / CEO and Founder, Diamond Rock Partners

David has been a serial entrepreneur and investor since 1999, and is currently CEO and Founder of Diamond Rock Partners, a privately held investment advisor for real estate transactions focused on the purchase, completion and sale of large multi-million dollar development projects. Prior to founding Diamond Rock Financial, Mr. Makharadze founded Givzy.com, an online marketing company focusing on delivering video content and monetizing the content through advertisers.  Prior to founding Givzy.com, David founded Zustek Corporation, a software company focusing on database marketing, which he later sold to InvestCorp, a private equity group out of New York.  At Zustek (now Zeta Interactive), he was responsible for all strategic revenue deals with clients including Time Inc, Mattel, Sony, Citibank, and Live Nation, all internal and external negotiations, partnership development and ultimately the exit transaction.  Prior to co-founding Zustek in 2001, David founded Downtown Bytes, Downtown Manhattan's premiere restaurant guide, in 1997, which continues to operate under his management, however is now dedicated to the growth and training of entrepreneurial students. David is a graduate of Cornell University's School of Hotel Management.
